The Paper Players Challenge: PP381 – Cut Out to be Friends

Cut Out To Be Friends

This week, I’m playing with The Paper Players. Their clean and simple challenge was right up my alley and the Sew Much Fun theme proved to be challenging as I don’t have very much sewing-related items in my stash.

I started out with my favorite color combo, Stampin’ Up!’s Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive, with paper from the Petal Garden paper stack.

Rich Razzleberry Old Olive

The stamps I used are a combination of Crafting Forever and Christmas Quilt, which is versatile all year long!

This card was so much fun to make.  I love the little embellishments that I pulled out of my stash.  I colored the scissors with a silver metallic marker and Copics (V12 and V04).

Thank you for joining me today!  I hope you were inspired by The Paper Players Challenge, my layout, and color choice.

  1. Bravo! Such a wonderful way to use those scissors! The button is a cute addition too. The sentiment and imagery go together perfectly. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week.

  2. Such a fun little card….those scissors (or that set) don’t get used enough here in my craft room! Fun to see them cutting out your flowers! Thanks for sharing this at the Paper Players and my challenge this week!

  3. This is so cute, Donna! I love the scissors and partially cut flower, so clever! Thanks for playing along with us at The Paper Players!
