Hi, friends! I’m back with January’s birthday card. If you remember, my friends and I make birthday cards for the pilots of a wonderful local charitable organization called Pilots for Patients. It’s dear to us for so many reasons. So, every month we make birthday cards for the pilots that fly these precious patients for free to receive medical care all over the United States. Check out the link above for more information.
These cards use a mix of product donated by one of my card-making friends. The base of the card is Whisper White. The layers are from a stash of 12″X12″ paper from Tuesday Morning from Cloud 9 Design. It’s actually Christmas paper, but I thought it was perfect for January masculine birthday cards. You see both sides of the card stock on the card. The card stock is layered on some copper card stock from Michael’s. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Stampin’ Up!’s Big on Birthdays. I thought it was great, retro and very dapper with this color scheme.
Here’s a little tip from me to you: those embellishments? They are Stampin’ Up!s adhesive pearls polished up with my R89 Dark Red Copic Marker! Don’t they match just great?
I hope January has been treating you well and warmly. I’ll see you next time….
