The Paper Players Challenge: PP381 – Cut Out to be Friends

Cut Out To Be Friends

This week, I’m playing with The Paper Players. Their clean and simple challenge was right up my alley and the Sew Much Fun theme proved to be challenging as I don’t have very much sewing-related items in my stash.

I started out with my favorite color combo, Stampin’ Up!’s Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive, with paper from the Petal Garden paper stack.

The stamps I used are a combination of Crafting Forever and Christmas Quilt, which is versatile all year long!

This card was so much fun to make.  I love the little embellishments that I pulled out of my stash.  I colored the scissors with a silver metallic marker and Copics (V12 and V04).

Thank you for joining me today!  I hope you were inspired by The Paper Players Challenge, my layout, and color choice.

I used a color combo of Powder Pink, Melon Mambo and Calypso Coral. I was inspired by the gorgeous Designer Series Paper, Painted with Love.

Serene Birthday in Perfect Plum

#handmade #birthday #greeting

I made this birthday card for a special lady whose favorite color is purple.  I used a color combo of Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder because I thought it coordinated nicely with this retired Creative Memories paper pack I had in my stash. It has a wonderful assortment of purples.

The Happy Birthday sentiment comes from the Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society stamp set Ranunculus.

January Birthday Card – Party Animal + Delightful Dozen (Retired)

birthday card

January’s birthday card uses some retired Stampin’ Up! product that I had in my stash.  I made twelve birthday cards for the volunteers of a local charitable organization and four for friends of mine.

This card uses a Pacific Point, Soft Sky and Whisper White color combo.

It uses the retired stamp set Delightful Dozen, which I can’t part with because of the great sentiments and fonts, and it uses the chevron patterned stamp from the very first Paper Pumpkin, “Hello There.”  It also uses some products from the retired Party Animal Suite, the designer series paper and the washi tape.  You’ll be happy to know that the Washi Tape and Embellishments are still available in the Clearance Rack while supplies last.

Here are a few more projects that I made with these accessories when they were available last year.

Happy New Year!

This card features the Stampin’ Up! set Cheers to the Year. It has so many great foil accents, from the Designer Series Paper to the washi tape. The copper foil sheets take well to the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder.
